Have the saints been exposed as pretenders? After kicking 7.3 to 1.2 in the first term the bulldogs turned up in quarter 2 and ran over the top of the saints. If you didnt trade Josh Hill into your team you will be kicking yourself. He scored 99 and could have scored alot more if he wasnt moved from half back to the goal square. Riewoldt failed to fire after an impressive start in the first term and B.Johnson was quite all game. Jason Gram failed again, he didnt seem to turn up to the game. Was constantly late to contests and his score was somewhat padded by a late running goal. Very inconsistant. Get rid of him. The Dogs seem to be backto there Dreamteam best with 6 players scoring over 90. Akermanis produced another solid return of 96.

| Round 2 Wrap Game 1 Brisbane Vs Collingwood |
High performers: S.Black 108 L.Power 108, J.Adcock98, S.Burns 123, D.Swan 108,
Cash Cows: L.Henderson 22, N.Brown 25, A.Proud 43.
Low Scorers: M.Leuenberger 28, J.Sherman 28.
Injuries: J.Drummond Quad 4 weeks. Travis Cloke Ankle TBA
Keep an eye on: Albert Proud
Brisbane managed to edge the Pies at the Gabba with according to collingwood fans alot of help from the umpires in the last quarter. For the lions Jed Adcock was back to his Dream Team best after failing to rack up double digits in round 1. Luke Power and Simon Black have continued their strong early season form both clocking over 100. Leunenberger scored a poor 28 and would have hurt alot of coaches who had him playing. After the preseason hype Sherman looks to be back to his 2007 form down on confidence and scored 25. Josh Drummond limped of the ground and it looks like we wont be seeing him for the next 4 weeks. It will be interesting to see who takes up his kicking role in the backline.
For the Pies Dane Swan was up to his usual tricks and Scott Burns had an impressive showing scoring 117. Didak and Medhurst came close to the 100 mark. Wood scored a respectable 45 but doesnt look to be capable of the big scores just yet. Travis Cloke has injured his ankle however should be ok for round 3.

The Demons copped another hiding. This week it was the Bulldogs dishing it out.
Things are not looking great for Dean Baily and his Demons and to make things worse this round they are coming up against Geelong. The 95 point drubbing produced a frenzy of fantasy scoring for the Western Bulldogs with 8 players scoring over 90. Cross has repayed the faith in his high price tag scoring a 139. R.Murphy is looking solid with a 121 and would be a good addition to your backline as long as he can stay out of the medical room. Cooney and Johnson had a down week. For the Demons the dynamic Duo Mcdonald and White were the only ones to score over 100. A few of Melbourne's big names are not firing and it is looking like there will be some big price drops. Keep your eye on Cameron Bruce. Aaron Davey has capped of his horror start to the season with a 35 and some strained foot ligaments for good measure. This should keep him on the sideline for at least 2 weeks. J.Hill scored 92 and after 2 games is averaging 89. With a price tag of $103,400 and Stewart Dew going down with a hamstring you can expect to see him in a few teams next week. Cale Morton is looking good and is averaging 50 in a low performing team.
